Scientists Examine ‘Holy Bed’ Believed To Be Tomb Of Jesus Christ

For the first time in centuries, the inside of the tomb believed to be that of Jesus has been rediscovered and opened. Scientists are analyzing the burial shelf underneath a marble slab to see what’s left inside.

Restoration workers in Jerusalem stumbled upon an amazing discovery when they uncovered a rock surface that some believe Jesus was once rested upon. This amazing slab of rock could be the “burial bed” Jesus rested upon in the tomb before he gloriously rose again! The slab was uncovered in what is now the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It is believed that Christians may have taken it there in 1555 where they enclosed it within the temple. The slab is now being studied by professionals
