It’s something no parent wants to experience.
Luke and Heidi Scanlon of Cadillac, Michigan, were at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, when they were unable to get in contact with 15-year-old daughter Leah, according to the Cadillac News.
The couple, who scrambled to get home, are searching for their teenage daughter.
According to a Facebook post by Heidi Scanlon, Leah Scanlon last was seen near Leeson Avenue in Cadillac around noon on Wednesday wearing a gray North Face jacket and black Nike high tops. She added that her daughter has long blonde hair, blue eyes and is 5-foot-8 and about 150 pounds.
There is a $10,000 reward for information that leads to finding Leah. Wexford County Lt. Richard Denison told the Cadillac News that foul play is not suspected.
