Oh, the joys of pregnancy! Maternity pictures, baby showers, appointments, and picking out a name are all a part of the festivities. leading up to the big day. The Corbitt family was set and ready for their big day and meet little Carleigh, but instead, they got quite the opposite. A 13 pound 5-ounce newborn.

Chrissy noticed that she was carrying a much heavier baby than her previous four children. She struggled with more discomfort and saw tremendous growth her size. She even questioned if it was really just one baby. Results declared there was only one baby who was perfectly fine in every way. Chrissy continued with the rest of her term as a ‘warrior” her husband sweetly said in describing her strength.

Chrissy shares the thoughts she had shortly after her delivery.

“When they held her around the curtain for me I just couldn’t believe how big she was. I felt like I was looking at a toddler, I was like oh my God, she’s gonna walk to the nursery,” she said to Inside Edition.

The entire medical team was in awe. They had never seen a newborn of this magnitude. The hospital garments for infants wouldn’t even fit baby Carleigh. Dad, Larry also couldn’t believe it. “I remember looking over the sheet and all the doctors’ faces were like oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh,” he said.

Mom and dad had to replace much of Carleigh’s wardrobe and replace them with 9-month-old outfits

Now, this big family can share a lot of love on their big blessing of a baby.
