A Texas family is praising the grace of God after their daughter’s extremely rare and inoperable brain tumor mysteriously disappeared for reasons doctors are currently unable to explain.

According to the reports, 11-year-old Roxli Doss, of Hays County, Texas, came down last year with something known as intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) after she suffered from symptoms such as headaches, an upset stomach, and double vision.
The Boston’s Children Hospital website says that DIPG is a highly-aggressive and hard-to-treat tumor which is located at the base of the brain. Roxli’s outlook was not looking good when she was diagnosed, and difficult conversations were had with her family.

“At Dell Children’s, Texas Children’s, at Dana-Farber, at John Hopkins, and MD Anderson, all agreed it was DIPG.”
In addition, Dr. Virginia Harrod, one of Roxli’s physicians at Dell Children’s Medical Center, concluded that his patient’s disease was quite rare.
“It is a devastating disease. You have decreased ability to swallow, sometimes vision loss, decreased ability to talk, eventually difficulty with breathing.”
“We don’t have a cure. This is considered a terminal diagnosis.”
Despite this, Roxli went through 11 weeks of radiation therapy to battle the deadly tumor. In the meantime, her family created a GoFundMe to help offset the costs of medical care.
After doing this, there was not much the family could do but turn to God. They were aware that their daughter was in serious trouble, so they prayed to the Lord that he could help her.
“The doctors guide us, but really the true guidance that we’re looking for is from God because that’s who we need our help from right now, and we’re really just praying for a miracle,” said Scott.
What happened afterward has left doctors stunned. An MRI scan taken in September showed that Roxli was cancer-free, and the tumor had completely vanished.
“When I first saw Roxli’s MRI scan, it was actually unbelievable. The tumor is undetectable on the MRI scan, which is really unusual,” Dr. Harrod confirmed.

Roxli’s parents are sure that God was responsible for ridding their daughter of this horrible disease.
They shared on CaringBridge.org: “A Miracle!! We all walked out in shock even though we had been begging, praying, asking and believing. Thank you Jesus just wasn’t enough to say.”
Roxli is now going through precautionary treatments such as immunotherapy – which is a treatment designed to help the body battle cancer – to make sure her cancer is entirely eliminated from her brain.
Prayers for this family and thank God for his blessings in cases like these.
