Babies are such beautiful blessings. They enrich our lives in countless ways.
One of George W. Bush’s twin daughters, Jenna Bush Hager, and husband Henry are expecting their third child. Jenna, whose co-host Hoda Kotb recently shared she’s adopting another child, announced on the ‘Today’ show that she is ‘very pregnant.’ “I don’t know how I hid this,” she said. Jenna is six months into the pregnancy.
The perfect time to share the news with her children came during Easter. After telling 6-year-old Margaret “Mila” Laura and 3-year-old Poppy Louise, Jenna knew it wouldn’t be a secret for long. As thrilled as she and Henry are about the news, their two daughters are even more excited. Mila and Poppy prayed for a baby sister or brother, Jenna said. Big sisters are important, and Mila and Poppy are sure to be two of the best.
Jenna and Henry have been married for ten years. The couple was not trying to get pregnant. Jenna shared that they dealt with fertility issues with their second child, so news of this addition came as a big surprise. The former first daughter couldn’t be happier about expanding her family.
She shared the upcoming child’s sex with fans on the Today show. I know those hearing the exciting news are excited for Jenna, Henry, Mila, and Poppy. If you missed the announcement, you can watch it here.
Congratulations to the Bush and Hager families! We look forward to seeing baby number three.
