Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead… – 1 Peter 1:3
It has been a tough week. Jesus also had a tough week and look how that turned out? Amen?

Let it bring you hope and joy this Easter!
Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6–7
Seeds have taken root and sprouted. Flowers have budded into first blooms. Trees have greened themselves into new life once again. Grass grows higher and higher, fueled by spring showers and longer days.
New life is all around us at this time of year. But it’s also within us. At Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior.
This celebration means the most when we incorporate it into every day of our lives, not just Christmas, Easter, and a few Sundays. To keep the resurrection power of the risen Christ alive in you each day, focus on these three things: 1) the gift of salvation paid through Jesus’ death on the cross, 2) his grace and mercy when you sin, and 3) the many blessings in your life of fruitful abundance. Like the combination of soil, sun, and water, focusing on these three never fails to produce blooms of joy and gratitude in your soul.
Pray: “Dear Lord, thank you for dying on the cross so that I might be forgiven and have new and eternal life. I praise you and worship your holy name today.”
