Read to grow closer to Jesus.

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23:6

Sometimes when we’re on a road trip, we follow someone we know driving the car ahead of us. We keep each other’s vehicles within sight and stop at the same time for gas and meals. Usually, we travel this way out of necessity, since everyone going might not fit in just one car. But we also follow each other because it’s safer, ensuring if one car breaks down, the other could offer assistance.

When we look at the rearview mirror of our lives, we will notice someone who always follows us closely. God has pursued us and continues to travel with us, offering his mercy, guidance, and protection wherever we go. We never travel alone on life’s journey, because our Father’s goodness paves the way.
