How’s Your Day Going?

You will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:12–13

Call upon Him

Ever have one of those days where you seem to keep losing things—your keys, your phone, your wallet or purse, your peace of mind? It’s terribly frustrating and inconvenient when we have misplaced something important to us. We have to retrace our steps and search for the missing item in the obvious places, but more importantly, we must look in the unexpected spot where it will undoubtedly turn up.

Sometimes we may feel as though we’ve lost our faith or that somehow God is no longer close by us. Like a rudderless ship on a storm-tossed sea, we may feel lost, powerless, untethered from our security.

All you have to do is call out to your Father. He is never far away. He is right here with you right now. When we seek him with all our heart, we discover that he was there all along.

Pray: “Lord, I’m so grateful that you are always with me. I want to seek you with my whole heart today in all that I do.”
