Grandpa Asks Nurse To Sing – Family Astounded The Moment Her Chilling Voice Takes Over Room

Music is something for which to be grateful. Some of us turn to music when we feel down to lift our spirits. When we feel troubled, we may need a powerful song to heal our soul from all negativity and worries.

And that’s what happened in Tennessee on Saturday night, when Olivia Kilburn’s grandmother was admitted to Nashville’s Saint Thomas West Hospital. Olivia’s grandmother was blessed with the powerful healing of music with a beautiful song sung by a very talented woman.

Mikea Braden, a nurse tech at the hospital, usually rounds while breathing songs. On one of these occasions, Olivia’s grandfather, who was in the hospital to look after his wife, heard the nurse tech and thought she could sing a song like the iconic “Amazing Grace.”

So he talked to the nurse and asked if singing for them wouldn’t matter. Mikea ended up giving an impromptu performance of the iconic song to make her patients feel better, while Olivia took footage of the amazing and warming event. Mikea was a really good singer!

The captured footage showcased that everyone in the room was in shock. Everyone closed their eyes and listened to the beautiful voice that took over the room. The song was much more than a song. It was a moment of healing and Olivia felt so blessed to have the opportunity to share this moment with her family, especially her Grandmother, Patsy, who a patient at the hospital.

Olivia was so amazed that she wanted the rest of the world to feel what they felt at that heartfelt moment. So she posted the video on her Facebook account and shared the nurse tech’s amazing song online. It was positively received by the online community, a lot of them commending the way Mikea showed just how much she was willing to go to make her patients feel better. She certainly a blessing for the family.

Mikea is certainly a super talented woman and by showcasing her talent to her patients, she not only showed that you can express your compassion for others not just by physically taking care of their needs but also by giving them hope and inspiration through your talent and your eagerness to help them.
