You may not be aware of how many people are watching you, but there are many. Now more than ever, others notice what you do and say in person and online. A careless comment, mean-spirited tweet, or prideful page-status might send the wrong signal to others who look to you as an example.

With so many people expressing opinions, especially online, it’s tempting to think that no one will notice your presence—or lack of it. But they will. Many people who don’t know God base their understanding of the gospel on what they see in your life.

This responsibility should not add undue pressure to what you say and do. Rather, you should consider what a privilege it is to represent the love of God and truth of Christ to those around you. You don’t have to be perfect; you just have to be present to the needs of others.
