Landen Hoffman, the 5-year-old boy who was stunningly thrown off of a balcony in the Mall of America, is continuing to shock doctors with his amazing recovery.
The family of the boy says that Landen is now out of critical condition, and is ”alert and conscious”. How amazing!
“Please keep praying for our son,” the family stated.
“All praise, glory and honor to Jesus. He saved our son’s live and is healing him in the most miraculous ways.”
Landen Hoffman’s family said that the recovery for Landen would not be easy, but they hope for him to be home by sometime in June.
Now they’re shifting their focus to the additional treatments and surgery he will have to undergo, according to CBS Minnesota.
The family also said thank you to the more than 25,000 individuals and families who gave money to the GoFundMe page set up for the boy’s family. It has raised just shy of $1,000,000.
Mac Hammond, the pastor at the family’s local church, said one of the boy’s attending doctors called his recovery “truly a miracle.”
According to Pastor Hammond, the doctors said that his head injuries were as though he’d “fell off a bicycle instead of off the third floor of the mall.”

Emmanuel Aranda, who is facing one felony count of attempted premeditated first-degree murder as a result of the incident, made his first court appearance last week.
Aranda goes back to court May 14. His bail remains active at $2 million.
Prayers for Landen and his family!
