Woman Explains How She Lost 65 Pounds In 1 Year Without Going To The Gym

Sticking to healthy habits can be a challenge, especially when life gets busy! But, it is never too late to start living a better lifestyle and now is the time to stop making excuses and take your health seriously! Tiffany Elizabeth was 24 years old, weighed 230 pounds and wore size XXL. She knew that she needed to make some major changes, but she needed some inspiration and accountability in order to really stick to a healthy lifestyle. So, she turned to social media and created an Instagram account called “My Adventure To Fit.”

“I kept seeing so many fit moms playing with their kids and chasing them around and kept thinking how much I wanted that,” Tiffany wrote on her blog. “I wanted to have the energy to play with my kids outside and enjoy life with them!” After Tiffany realized that her weight was holding her back from being her best self, the young mom decided to make some drastic changes to her diet. She proceeded to cut out all dairy and gluten from her meals, and this change resulted in her dropping nearly 20 pounds in the first few months! Soon after that, she realized that her unhealthy cravings had subsided and that she was feeling better than she had ever felt in her life.

This diet is also known as the “Whole 30” diet because people typically take on this lifestyle change for 30 days. However, Tiffany stuck with it for an entire year and completely eliminated all junk food, candy, and soda from her diet. The determined mom dropped a whopping 65 pounds and several clothing sizes in that year! Not only that, but Tiffany said that she never even joined a gym! Instead, she claims she worked out at home. She said she used the Insanity Max 30 workout videos and did the routines to the best of her ability. “I paused a lot in the beginning just to breathe,” Tiffany said. But, even though it was hard, she kept going the best she could.

People who follow Tiffany on Instagram have been encouraging her as well. “People message me every day and tell me I’m their motivation,” Tiffany said. “That they’re on their weight loss journey because I made them believe they could reach their goals.” Check out the video below to see part of Tiffany’s weight loss journey when she was down 42 pounds:
