Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson talk about the power of prayer in their lives

Tom Hanks came from humble beginnings. His parents divorced as he was growing up and he was forced to travel around a lot as a kid. He moved from school to school and had a rough time fitting in. He claims that his teachers and peers didn’t really understand him and that he was a bit of an outcast.

“I was a geek, a spaz. I was horribly, painfully, terribly shy. At the same time, I was the guy who’d yell out funny captions during filmstrips. But I didn’t get into trouble. I was always a real good kid and pretty responsible,” Hanks said.

Hanks decided to take on acting and realized that he had finally found what he is good at! He blossomed into a brilliant actor and has become an amazing star!

Watch as Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson talk about their relationship with God.
