Family and friends usually get together over the holidays. Maybe it’s Christmas parties or even for the New Year. I would occasionally buy a holiday outfit or maybe some festive earrings for these types of occasions. For one woman in Michigan, she colors hair for the holidays, and we mean literally.
Jasmine VanAmburg is a hair colorist in the city of Saginaw. She has a great reputation at Rock Your Locks hair salon for her incredible skills and creativity. She created a look for the holidays with a mix of festive colors that the hair industry is talking about.
“I was looking for something fun and festive for the holidays. The color combination of red, green, and gold represent the holidays perfectly,” VanAmburg shared in a magazine interview.
Her advice for someone who wants a similar look is to suggest a getting rid of bold lines and splotches. A bricklayer mix helps to achieve the effect. Using both horizontal and vertical pieces of hair at about 1 inch or a half an inch works really well. After about 5 hours, VanAmburg’s look was complete.
Her picture was posted on her social media profile and fans loved it. Many made comments complimenting her work and asking how she did it. The cute holiday flower was a nice added touch that was noticed also.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for sure. Let’s show our joy for the season both inside and out. Now we can really show our holiday spirit from head to toe.
