What an incredible journey for 71 year old Andy Steinfeldt!

Amazing athletes in top physical condition will soon go up to Minnesota for the Final Four. However, they might find it difficult to keep up with one 71-year-old Minnetonka man.

Andy Steinfeldt has spent nearly his entire day at the Sabes Jewish Community Center trying to shatter the Guinness World Record for his age holding an abdominal plank stance. According to the JCC, he was able to hold the plank for 38 minutes, which was enough to break the previous record of 36 minutes, 58 seconds.

The motivational speaker and incredible senior athlete just finished up radiation treatment for prostate cancer.

He says he wanted to try to break the record to help motivate others to overcome challenges and maintain a positive attitude.
