As we are all God’s favorite creations, we must do everything in our power to help those in need. Just as how we are faithful to God, we must do the same to our fellow brothers and sisters. Even the smallest act of kindness can work wonders in this world. God rewards those who are willing to go out of their way to help people.
It is extremely sad to see that the number of panhandlers is increasing on a regular basis. Sometimes, we feel terrible about the situation they are in and provide a few dollars to help them out. Other times, we tend to ignore certain panhandlers because they try to deceive us.
Johhny Servantez, a man from Indianapolis, made it a point to continue walking every time he came across a panhandler. However, when Johhny Servantez saw Johhny Rhoades near a flea market, he couldn’t walk away without offering help. After seeing the condition of Rhoades, he gave him a few dollars He also took a picture and posted it on Facebook, asking people in the vicinity to help out Rhoades. As the post became viral, it reached one person that no one expected, who happened to be the brother of Rhoades.

Danny Rhoades said the following to RTV6, “I’m so sick to my stomach right now, I can’t function to know someone is living this way and looks this bad.”
However, when Danny was about to help his brother, Johhny Rhoades had disappeared. God must have been keeping an eye on Danny because Amy Renae Smith offered to help him out. She started a Facebook page where people could share tips and details about Johhny Rhoades.
Thanks to the effort made by a lot of people, Danny was finally able to find his brother.
Later, Smith posted the following on the Facebook page, “He had two meals, a [hot] shower, a pair of clean clothes, a room to himself with quiet, a king size bed, tv w/ cable, fridge, a microwave, Pepsi, & leftovers. He is safe, and resting.”
Please share this reunion story and encourage others to show kindness to our fellow humans today!
