The vast majority of us will know of the saying ‘good things come in small packages’.

That was definitely true in the case of 9-year-old Celine Tam, who surprised the audience with her diminutive stature when she walked out on stage to perform on America’s Got Talent.

No sooner had the little girl introduced herself did she reveal her favorite singer is the famous Celine Dion. Cue the surprise from notoriously harsh judge Simon Cowell, and a bit of eye rolling in addition to that. After all, Celine Dion is a musical legend with vocal capabilities very few could ever hope to match.

What Celine Tam had in store, though, would stun everyone …

Little Celine’s musical career started when she was traveling in a car one day with her family. Celine Dion’s classic “My Heart Will Go On” began to blare on the radio, and the child needed no invitation to start belting her lungs out.

Celine’s father was so amazed by his daughter’s voice that he realized right away that singing would be the arena in which she would make her mark on the world.

He and Celine’s mom lent their daughter all the support she needed, knowing that if they could nurture her talent and maximize its potential, she would benefit for her entire life.

Suffice to say the difficult work paid dividends the day she walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage.

9-year-old Celine was given her chance at showcasing her undoubtable skill to the world, and boy did she take it with both hands.
