The Greatest Party
Have you ever overheard coworkers or friends at church talking about the great party they all attended the night before? They’re joking and reminiscing, recounting the highlights of what was clearly a good time. There’s one problem, however: you weren’t invited.
It’s not fun being left out while others celebrate, feeling overlooked and ignored, unimportant—or worse—unwanted. However, the greatest party in history is one that’s still going on and one that you’re most certainly invited to attend. In fact, you’re not only invited but you can bring as many friends and family members as you want!
The good news of the birth of Christ continues to be for all people. Not for the elite, or the hip, or the wealthy or successful. But for everyone. Our Father loves us all. Jesus was born and died and rose again for everyone. The party is just getting started.
Pray: “Dear God, I’m so grateful that you have invited everyone to the greatest party of all time. The good news of Christ’s birth is for all people.”
