A Tennessee hospice nurse has made a list of the most common things Christians say before dying.

Out of hundreds of cases, a nurse compiled a list of the most common phrases she hears Christians say as they leave this world.  Everyone has thoughts running through their minds and the end of their life and many people share regrets of things they wish they had done. What was interesting to discover was that people who said they were Christians focused more on what was to come at the end of their life more than what they were leaving behind and the regrets of things never done.

1. “I love you.”

2. “I’m ready”

3. Singing a Hymn, most often Amazing Grace.

4. “I see Angels”

5. “I wonder what Heaven will be like”

6. “I can’t wait to see my loved ones in Heaven”

7. Saying a prayer to Jesus.

When it is your time to go, when you are about to take your last breath, what thought will be in your mind?  Do you believe Jesus will be waiting for you in heaven?  Do you believe this world is all there is?
