One of the traditions of the Christmas season is putting up Christmas decorations.  But just because you think your decorations are fun doesn’t mean your neighbors will agree. Author Diana Rowland decided to deck her lawn with three large inflatable Halloween dragons in her yard this Christmas season.  But not everyone was onboard with her creative decision.

In a tweet that went viral, Rowland posted a photo of the elaborate dragon ‘holiday’ display set alongside an anonymous letter she received from a disgruntled neighbor.  Rowland decided to respond the best way she knew how, by fighting back.

In the anonymous letter, her neighbors didn’t hold back how they felt about her dragon display.

So Rowland responded.

Then she added Christmas colored dragons to the display making it a total of 5 dragons.

People in the comments were all in support the dragons as well as mocking Jesus at the same time.

What some fail to understand I guess is what someone means when they say ‘the true meaning of Christmas’  There is only one true meaning of Christmas.  It is the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  People love to make fun of something they do not understand or fear. Thats why we have bullies in this world.

If you don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus, maybe this is the Christmas you finally accept the gift God has freely given you.

Luke 2:11-14
