Mario Lopez & Wife Receive Miracle Baby News After Believing It Wasn’t in ‘God’s Plan’

Everyone loves good news, and what news could be better than, “we’re having a baby?” When your cousin Jane announces on Facebook, you hit the “wow” reaction and comment with tons of emojis. But for some reason, we get just as excited about some strangers’ baby announcements as we do when it is family, especially when those strangers are celebrities.

Mario Lopez, Extra host and “Saved by the Bell” star, and his wife Courtney have two kids, a boy, Nico, and a daughter, Gigi, but always hoped for a bigger family. In a recent interview with People Magazine, Mario said, “If it didn’t happen, it wasn’t meant to be. Not part of God’s plan.” He went on to say, “We have one of each.”

But, late in 2018, just before Christmas, the Lopez family learned a baby was on the way, though they waited until January before they shared the glorious news with the rest of us.

While each of the kids has strong opinions about what they want and Courtney jokes she wants a “Frenchy” while holding up the family pooch, Mom and Dad want a healthy kiddo. The baby is due in July 2019, and Mario and Courtney plan on finding out the gender in the delivery room.

We hope the birth announcement is as cute as the baby announcement was. Congrats to the happy couple and may God bless your family.
