Man Learns His Dad Saved Hundreds of Jewish Soldiers in WWII

Roddie Edmonds was a young master sergeant fighting in the Battle of the Bulge when he was captured. But even as a prisoner, Edmonds was able to save hundreds of lives, his son would later learn.

When a German officer asked him to identify which POWs were Jewish, Edmonds refused, declaring, “We’re all Jews here.” Chris Edmonds, a pastor in Tennessee, recounts his father’s remarkable story in the book, “No Surrender.”
