Life can have moments of joy and experiences of fear. We lean on God through all of the good and bad, knowing he has a plan for us. Paul Wood kept his eyes on the Lord and then his brain tumor vanished.
Paul was an active man who frequently spent time with his children, giving back to his town, and loving Jesus. He started to notice a difference in how he felt and took action to get help.
“I had massive headaches, I couldn’t walk down the hallway without holding on to the walls.”
He set up an appointment and did some tests and scans with a neurosurgeon. After imaging and results were in, what was originally thought to be a brain bleed was possibly a malignant tumor. A surgery was scheduled to remove the mass. Paul focused on his faith and loving prayers from those who knew him.
“My phone is blowing up, my Facebook is prayer after prayer, all over California,” he shared about those who lifted him up in the word.
One day before surgery, the signs of the tumor vanished. All were stunned and the surgery was canceled.
“It’s a miracle and that is the way God planned it.”
His doctor Richerd Yee and others have no explanation for the change.
“We do tests and we have medical technology and we try to come up with some conclusion… sometimes things happen that we can’t explain.”
“He just kept saying, ‘no matter what happens to me, I’m going to be okay. I trust God.’ And that was an inspiration for a lot of people around him,” said Jason McEachron, a Pastor at Paul’s Church.
Others believe it was the prayers in numbers and God for Paul’s healing. Praise Jesus!
