Most parents can relate to the many accidents that messes that happen when one has small children. This is a sweet story where despite the mistake Joanna Gaines discovered, something special was revealed.
Joanna noticed writing in her 8-year-old little girl’s bathroom.
“Walked into Emmie’s bathroom this morning and my heart stopped for a second when I thought she had sharpied all over her vanity,” she said in a social media post.
Her little girl Emmie had composed a note on the counter reading, “Hello God what are you doing?”
Joanna Gaines stated, “And then I took a moment and really read what she wrote and thought, ‘Well that isn’t the worst thing to be permanent’.”
Joanna kept thinking about Emmie’s message. She praised and acknowledged it as the pure type of faith that comes from a child.
“I stared at her question and loved the thought of it and that that’s how she talks to God. May her faith always stay childlike and may I remember what she seems to already know. That God is the most relational and the most kind, and always near,” she shared.
About 1.5 million individuals reacted to the photograph posted. The image seemed to touch fans deeply.
