The fires in California are all over the news these days. The tremendous damage and lives lost so far are heartbreaking. Organizations and people alike are donating their money and efforts to help not only those in need but also those fighting to manage and eliminate the disaster. Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri is doing his part by feeding the men and women out in the field.
Guy has accomplished many things over the years in his career. He owns three restaurants in California, has a television series and even hosts a game show. His volunteer efforts are by far the most impressive.
Butte County Sherriff’s Department has expressed their gratitude for Fieri’s help along with pictures in their social media.
Guy Fieri made a surprise visit to serve dinner to everyone at the law enforcement staging area at Butte College. Thank you so much Guy for filling our bellies and lifting our spirits. #ButteSheriff #CampFire pic.twitter.com/ZnhNxOa81n

One thankful officer wrote, “Thank you so much Guy for filling our bellies and lifting our spirits.”
Auburn Police Department also posted “Guy Fieri is in this photo with Officer Joe Almeida up in Butte County #CampFire Guy is cooking pulled pork dinner for everyone this evening. He had also thanked everyone that is helping out for their hard work! Thank you Guy for your time, support and great food! #ButteCounty.”
Fieri has shown his support in past fires as well including earlier this year with chef Jose Andreas. The duo fed those who were forced to leave their homes as well as medical teams.
In his own post, Guy praises the great work these heroes are doing.
“In today’s tumultuous world, it’s amazing to see our firefighters, military, law enforcement, and first responders come together to rescue our communities devastated by fire. So many great people stepping up to take care of one another.”
Thank you for sharing your gifts and blessing others Guy Fieri.
