Two weeks after revealing that he and his wife Lauren Hashian had tied the knot, after two children and 12 years of dating, Dwayne Johnson is releasing his personal wedding album — and revealing how he kept his unique day confidential.
The actor revealed to his Instagram followers that his Hawaiian nuptials were handled in-house by his family and staff to make sure that the couple had their special day without any paparazzi interference.
“To carry out my #1 goal of complete privacy, no wedding planners or outside resources were hired,” the 47-year-old posted on social media. “Everything you see was created by hand, by staff and family only. The end results were spectacular and [Hashian] and I will forever be grateful for helping our hearts sing on this day.”
The outdoor celebration overlooked the beautiful Hawaiian ocean, with visitors seated on plain wooden chairs, while Johnson and Hashian exchanged vows beneath an arch decorated with white flowers.
Their daughters, 3-year-old Jasmine and 1-year-old Tiana, also made a heart-melting appearance, with the former wearing a grass skirt for the occasion.
The wedding photos prompted well wishes and nice comments from other celebrities like Tom Brady and Jeffrey Dean Morgan of the hit show The Walking Dead, who wrote, “Gorgeous. All of it. Even you.”
This wedding marks Dwayne Johnson’s second marriage. Dwyane and ex-wife Dany Garcia split back in 2007 after 10 years of marriage and the couple has an 18-year-old daughter whose name is Simone.
