Do you have faith?

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1

Since we have millions of sources online, sometimes it’s hard to know who to believe. Years ago, we might have believed most things we saw on the “information superhighway.” But with such a growing, global online community, it’s clear that not everyone can be trusted. From dating sites to start-up business opportunities, many individuals hide behind their virtual identity and deceive others about who they are and what they have to offer. We literally can’t accept everyone online at face value because we cannot see them. They might have selfies, profiles, likes and dislikes, but unfortunately, they may not accurately reveal who the online user really is as a person.

Our faith in God also requires us to make decisions based on limited information. Often we have to risk stepping out in faith, uncertain of the result because of our limited vision. Regardless of the outcome, we can trust that God’s profile never changes.

You can grow closer to God with my full Jesus Daily® Devotional Book at fine bookstores everywhere.

Pray: “I can’t see you, but I know you’re real. Thank you for all that your Word reveals about you. Strengthen my faith so I can continue to take the risks you want me to take.”
