Sometimes you feel as though no one understands you or can appreciate your faith. You want to talk about Jesus more—at home, at work, at school, in the neighborhood—but you don’t want to be misunderstood as a religious fanatic or someone driven by a political axe to grind. You want to do more than share your perspective or exchange words with other people.

The solution is simple.

Allow others to see Jesus in you by what you do, not by anything you say. Christ’s actions shouted his Father’s love to those around him—feeding the hungry, healing the sick, helping outsiders. Today, go out of your way to serve those in need, to surprise those alongside you, and to honor those in a position of authority above you. Humble yourself the way Jesus humbled himself.
