Kaylieann Steinbach, 3, was ready up for her picture day at preschool. Her dad, Austin, carefully picked out three beautiful outfits for her to choose from.

But Kaylieann refused to wear any of them. Instead, she wanted to pick her own outfit and not just any outfit. Something super.

After receiving Kaylieann’s hilarious school photo, Austin couldn’t help but post it on Reddit for all to see. He and Jami were shocked by how quickly the unexpected image went viral.

Austin and Jami also soon revealed that Kaylieann is 75 percent deaf in both ears. Her confidence and individuality has garnered much support from the deaf community.

“She absolutely loves Superman, especially her life-size ‘pooterman’ she attempts to take [him] everywhere.” Austin said.

According to Austin, she definitely loves to dress up as her favorite superheroes. In fact, she has a lot of other costumes too that she wears to school. Her classmates and staff members always wonder what superhero Kaylieann will be the next time they see her. Whether it’s Spider-Man, Batman, Wonder Woman or Frozen’s Anna – Kaylieann will always find something magical or heroic to wear.
