It’s always heartwarming to hear when celebrities give back in a big way. For entertainer Bruno Mars, this is something he sincerely enjoys.
For Thanksgiving, Mars has decided to purchase 24 thousand meals for the Salvation Army’s Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division. This celebrates the end of his tour and also recognizes the name of his most recent Album “24K Magic”.
Bruno was born in Hawaii and continues to love his home. He even mentioned the state in a recent social media post.
“Let’s have a good time tonight, Hawaii! Most importantly, let’s show love and aloha to everyone driving down and attending the concert. I’ve missed you all and I can’t wait to perform and sing on the island I call home. See you tonight!”
Blessing others is something Mars has become known for in recent years. He’s made efforts that contributed to youth with ADHD and special needs, Typhoon Yolanda assistance for Filipino youth and more. He also made incredibly large donations to help with the Flint, Michigan water crisis.
“Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again,” he expressed in a post.
Bruno has also performed for a televised free concert in New York City’s legendary Apollo Theater.
What a great reminder that God wants us to love each other and help those in need.
