The birth of a child is such a special time. We build palaces in our minds, dreaming of a spectacular life for our precious little one. We believe that everything will be okay and our little darling will be safe in our arms. But as this mother was about to find out, life can change in a split second.
A family of three visited Yosemite National Park, California, USA for their yearly camping holiday. It was 2016 and the park looked stunning. The family – mom, dad and baby – had a splendid time. They had hiked up a secluded trail, birdwatched and indulged in their favorite sweet and savory snacks.
As they trekked, the family came across a rustic bridge surrounded by beautiful trees and colorful flowers. Wishing to create memories that their baby girl could look at when grown up, the family decided to stop and take a photo.
While the mother held the video camera, dad and the little one went to stand on the edge of the bride. The father placed the girl near the bridge’s banking and crouched down next to her. Just as the mother was about to take the picture, the little girl, who was standing so close to the bridge’s edge, lost her footing and fell backward and went off the bridge.
What happened next will shock you and leave you gasping for breath.
