Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
John 20:29
These days we can order most anything online: clothes, food, appliances, computers, even cars and houses. But usually, the greater the purchase price, the more we want to see what we’re getting for our money before we invest. While some people are comfortable buying a car online, sight unseen, most of us want to see it, touch it, drive it, before we spend our hard-earned dollars to buy it.
Faith requires us to invest in our relationship with God in ways that sometimes seem cloudy and unclear. We can’t see what’s ahead or understand why God allows certain events to happen. And yet we’re called to step out in faith, trusting that our Father will guide us each step of the way, regardless of how clearly we can see the path.
Today, don’t worry about how clearly you can see what God’s up to—just take the next step.

Pray: “Dear God, strengthen my faith as I face the unknowns ahead of me this day. Remind me that you know where I’m going, even when I can’t see ahead.”
