The testing of your faith develops perseverance.
James 1:3
Some days it’s not easy to keep going. Whether it feels like a bad day where nothing goes right, or just another boring repeat of the same routine, we struggle to stay the course. We begin to feel insecure and inadequate, unsure if we can maintain the pace we’ve been going. We don’t have all the answers or feel in control. We get tired and don’t know how we’ll make it through the day.
These are the times when we must cry out to God, acknowledging our pain and weakness and asking for his power and strength to carry us. We know we can’t do it on our own and can’t imagine how we can finish the race. And that’s okay—it’s not up to us. We simply have to keep living day by day, stepping out in faith moment by moment.
