On her way to work one morning, Jenelle Valdina hydroplaned along the icy and dangerous highway and crashed her car into a guard rail. She had bad leg injuries and prayed to God not to let her die there, all by herself.

She couldn’t find her phone, and it was not likely that anyone who came upon her would reach 911 since the signal was so patchy.

That’s when Jenelle remembered the small silver bracelet she’d been wearing on her wrist. Her aunt had given it to her just weeks before the accident.

While rolling around and searching for help, Jenelle glanced down onto the concrete and spotted the bracelet in question, lying just outside her crashed car.

She hit a button on the circular bracelet — and within minutes, her dad was by her side. “I could start really feeling the pain, and I just heard my dad’s voice,” Valdina said to CBS.

You see, while Jenelle’s charm bracelet looks like a normal piece of jewelry, it’s actually an emergency button in disguise.
