Nicole McGuiness dreamed about buying a house on the beach. To make her house hunting even more exciting, she appeared on the HGTV show ‘Beach Front Bargain Hunt.’ She was celebrating successful treatment for brain cancer by buying a beach house in South Carolina. But when Dr. Erich Voigt was watching the show at his home on Long Island, he saw a small but noticeable lump on her throat. He used social media to track down Nicole, and, sure enough, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
