19-Month-Old Dies In Pool And 5 Days Later, Pregnant Mom Sees Her Face In Son’s Ultrasound
The loss of a loved one can be deeply overwhelming. We lean on Jesus for his strength and prayers from those around us. It can be especially difficult with the loss of a child. Bode Miller and his Morgan recently experienced this heartbreak, but found peace when they saw their new child’s ultrasound image.
Earlier in 2018, the couple lost their daughter Emma when she accidentally drowned. Morgan was already pregnant with their son and had a hard time not only with her passing, but Emma no longer being a part of what would have been her baby brother’s life.
Morgan went for her checkup just days after the accident to see how the baby inside of her was doing. Emmy was at the last check up and saw her younger sibling to be. This change made her doctors appointment that much more painful.
She observed the ultrasound image and saw the baby in her tummy.
“He looked so much like my other babies, just like Bode with that sweet nose and those full lips,” she said in a social media post.
As she looked at the image, she saw something else also.
“But as quickly as I saw this new baby, my eyes moved to the angel lying to the right of his face, holding him, arms around his neck. Almost as if to say, ‘It’s okay. I’m here.”’
