The book of John 5:5 reads, “Who is it that overcomes the world? Only one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” It can be hard to keep faith when times are tough. Kyle Tomlinson’s faith was tested when David Williams rejected him in the 2014 edition of Britain’s Got Talent. But as he eventually proved, faith in the Lord is what leads to salvation.
Kyle Tomlinson is a 15-year-old boy from Sheffield. After being rejected by David William in 2014, Kyle took what David said to heart and set out on a mission to prove him wrong. The first time around Kyle was given four no votes by all the judges. To add insult to injury, David Williams actually said that Kyle needed singing lessons. Through it all, Kyle learned a valuable lesson from his experience. When life kicks you down, you don’t give up. Kyle finally came back 3 years later to prove something to himself and the world. You have to see this amazing performance that moved the audience to tears. A judge is only allowed to use a golden buzzer once per season. This lets a contestant skip all intermediary rounds and puts them directly into the semi-finals. Now get ready and watch this golden buzzer performance!
