Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. – Acts 2:38
Annie Lobert spent more than a decade working as a high priced escort in Las Vegas. That sanitized, euphemistic description of her job masked the fact that she was a prostitute, trapped in the ugly and sinful world of sex trafficking. Annie didn’t feel like she could ever leave that terrible life and she was arrested 25 times before it sunk it that she had to get out.
Thankfully, Annie found God and has done more than just get out of the sex trade. She started the ministry Hookers For Jesus and is dedicating her life to saving more women from that awful industry and saving their souls. It’s easy to see a prostitute, a homeless person, a drug abuser and see someone for whom there is no hope. To see a lost soul. But no soul need be “lost”. Anyone can be redeemed if they are willing to turn to the Lord.
We’re blessed that people like Annie Lobert are willing to see the souls worth saving.
