Some sins just seem to stand out more than others, this sin to me even sounds bad!! The results of the flesh are never pleasing to God. The pride that some exalt in the name of religion emphasizes the total rejection that really hurts the heart of the true believer. Remember, the true believer has a heart of “love for the brethren”!! The words they speak are slanderous and reproachful. Their evil opinions lead to evil living for they follow not the things of God, but rather they “chiefly walk after the flesh”!!
2 Pet 2:10
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. (KJV)
Presumptuous: a daring man, audacious, (recklessly bold) intrepidly, (resolute fearlessness) to speak or to act without warrant, to speak proudly, OT “to boil up” to “act proudly”!! NT “with a high hand” boldness in a “bad sense” “shameless and irreverent daring”
Ps 19:12-14
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
(KJV)
What are we to do?

2 Cor 12:21
