This Nurse Comforted a New Patient, but You Won’t Believe Who He Really Was.

Wanda calls it a spiritual gift that God has given her. The hospice nurse was taken by surprise when she received a new patient – the father who had abandoned her as an infant. He recognized her face. She recognized his name. The rest is history.

After confirming that they were indeed father and daughter, the two embraced. Wanda admits it was a bit awkward in that moment, but soon awkwardness gave way to excitement, joy, pride – and forgiveness.

Forgiveness. While forgiveness may be something many people struggle with, Wanda was intent on pushing beyond the past and embracing the present.
