Ty Koehn, a player at Mounds View High School, was pitching against his childhood friend, Jack Kocon, who plays with Totino-Grace High School, and his friend struck out on the last pitch. “I didn’t think, I just ran over there, instinct. It felt like the right thing to do,” Koehn told CBSNews. While Koehn’s teammates celebrated their win, Koehn took the opportunity to comfort and hug his buddy.
