Acts of kindness and love are being heard in the headlines of neighbors helping neighbors. The homes of many are being burned to the ground, including celebrities. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are just a few of those victims. They also want to give back despite losing their own home and bring the area back to its original beautiful state.
The couple has been active on social media with images and comments about their loss. The pictures show their home burned to the ground with only a sign that reads ‘love’ that sits in the ruins. The sign was originally in their garden, which is now ashes.
Liam posted, “It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires. I spent the day in Malibu yesterday and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they can. Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger.”
The two have big hopes for their beloved Malibu and want to see it come back even stronger. Miley even has a song titled after her home’s town. To help with these efforts, they have donated $500K to hopefully make an impact.
