Some thought McDonald’s would throw them out but everyone loved it!
United Pentecostal Church (UPC) Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I) is a Christian organization and is a part of United Pentecostal Church International whose headquarters in the US. Every year, the UPC holds a conference at the Venue Cymru in Llandudno. The group is in touch with the council as well as the mayor of Llandudno, and help the community as much as they can.
This year, the UPC helped one of the local parks. The young members of the group were separated into different teams for painting, cleaning, litter-picking, digging, and other works that helped clean up the park. The members felt blessed that they were able to help as much as they could.
Thursday was the third night of the 50th Jubilee General Conference of the United Pentecostal Church of Great Britain and Ireland. After the worship service at the Venue Cymru, a few of the younger members of the Christian organization went out for an afterburner at McDonald’s in Llandudno.
What started as an impromptu singalong, surprised everyone. Some of the members of the Christian group started singing aloud while some thought they would be thrown out. To everyone’s surprise, the customers and the staff of McDonald’s joined them. This colorful and cheerful moment was captured by Franck Montrose from London.
The singalong had started as a simple chorus, which then turned into a whole choir. Everyone joined the young Christian Group, and people were drumming and clapping and harmonizing. God has his own way of making his presence felt.
