If we’re going to make the world a more positive place, being kind is one of the ways to go about it. Kindness always cheers people up, and that’s the goal, right?
This brings us to the story of Pastor Franklin…
Pastor Franklin Goden was having a routine day when he passed by a mall in Quezon City and noticed a homeless man scrounging for food in a trash can.

He approached the guy and discovered that Erwin Dean was his name. Goden took Dean on a life-changing trip from the goodness of his core that went beyond their expectations.
Goden bought fresh clothes for Dean that very day, and took him to the salon for a bath and haircut.
They came back to the mall for a delightful dinner as well. As Goden shared on Facebook, he wrote the following:
“The mall made him smile.”
The Facebook post got several positive comments and many internet users were heaping thanks on the man of God for his act of kindness.
There were, however, a few comments where people tried to put down the man’s actions by criticizing the fact that he announced his benevolence on Facebook.

However, these accusations were soon shut put to rest when the story took a surprising turn.
Due to Goden’s Facebook post, Dean’s long-lost family was able to locate him, which was the pastor’s plan all along!
“I want his family to see him. I am talking to his brother, crying and thanking and praising God.”
Dean’s brother contacted Goden, and they were able to bring together the man with his family. Now, Dean isn’t forced to spend another night out on the streets.
