Former NBA Star Lamar Odom Says He Was Saved by Jesus

The former NBA superstar has given his life to Christ and he can’t stop talking about how amazing it feels!

He was close to death and was deep in a struggle with addiction and alcohol before turning to the Lord.

In an Instagram post, he said that he “got saved” over the weekend at The Word Church.

Odom shared how grateful he is to be walking with the Lord and the blessing of being alive.

His girlfriend, Sabrina Parr has been incredibly supportive, being right by his side during the entire process. She commented under his post:

“Nothing better than a man of God! Keeping pushing through life baby!! God willing I’ll be right here by your side!!!!”

Odom is very upfront about his struggles in his memoir, “Darkness to Light.”

In a May interview with CNN, Odom said that strength in God helped him through one of the darkest periods of his life.

Clearly, God is still working miracles in His life. What a beautiful thing and prayers for Lamar as he continues his relationship with Jesus!
