Many recognize images amongst the clouds; it is how our brains are wired. A child might look up at the careful collection of clouds above him or her and see a giant firetruck or a beautiful princess.
For the man behind this camera, it was something NOT easily forgotten! Can you recognize what amazed the man behind the camera?
Wow, how amazing!
While the image in the clouds may or may not have been the face of Jesus, it is a reminder of His ever-watchful presence over us. Jesus’ life and ministry proved to the world that humanity’s God is not a disinterested God but a God of unceasing love and compassion. Psalm 32:8 reads, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you and watch over you.” Jesus not only watches over us and teaches us, he also empathizes with our struggles. He knows what it is like to lose a loved one, to be hated, and to be betrayed; he experienced love and he experienced friendship. He understands what it is like to be you and me.
