It’s not a normal occurance when an 8-year-old wows a crowd with his piano skills on a stage as grand as the one at the iHeartRadio award show, but when you’re the child of star artists Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, it makes sense. Keys played her new song, “Raise A Man,” at the stunning awards show on March 14, and she was able to share the stage with her son Egypt in an incredible moment.

Egypt joined her on the stage to wow the audience on the piano as his mom rang out lyrics from “Raise A Man” and even a few lines of “You Don’t Know My Name” before taking a minute to thank the fans for allowing her and her child to perform so well together.
Despite Keys being no stranger to gracing the stage with world-class artists and stunning audiences with her powerhouse vocals, the mom seemed completely amazed by this event. She took to Instagram to share the feeling of this moment with her son:
“The Mommy & Me moment I’ve been dreaming of!!!” she wrote. “WOWOWOW!!! Egy I’m in awe of you! You’re so BRAVE and BEAUTIFUL and make me so PROUD!!! The feeling I felt with you next to me during this song???? FULL BODY CHILLS. You ROCKED SON!!!!! [Y]our journey is just beginning and I’m so blessed to #raiseaman like you.”
The post-show celebrations were so adorable, as Egypt’s father was also there to share the moment with his son. And when Egypt was asked, “What do you want to say to your fans?” in a post-concert “interview,” he simply said, “Thank you. Thank you for watching.”
It wasn’t just Egypt and his mom who were stars of the show, however. Swizz Beatz sat in the crowd with their other son, 4-year-old Genesis, while Egypt and his mom performed, and Genesis was getting the attention of A-listers, too.

Keys shared a video of her son adorably flirting with Taylor Swift while sitting in the crowd:
“I swear… I leave these two alone for one minute,” the mom said on the Instagram post.
So, it seems okay to say that a ton of attention was on this family at the iHeartRadio Awards, and for a great reason! They couldn’t be more adorable!
