Pleading To ‘Anyone Who Will Take Me’ – Teen Hopes To Be Adopted Before Time Runs Out

Haven is hoping to finally meet his forever family before he get too old for the foster care system… but time is not on his side.

The 17-year-old from Oklahoma City is very involved with the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.  He hopes to one day enlist in the military so he can be “a part of something bigger than myself and serving my country.”

Having been in Oklahoma Department of Human Services custody for over five years, Haven states his dream of being adopted is starting to feel hopeless.

Currently he is living in a shelter with four other kids in a situation that can feel frustrating and lonely.

Haven turns 18 in October 2019. He needs a good role model who can provide guidance and support as he enters the early stages of adulthood but mostly, sadly, he simply wants “anyone that will take me.”  We are praying for him.
